The Excel Centre in London had this large convention today, 23rd May 2009. I went with three friends.
Went to London, got utterly lost on the underground and all that jazz, though we were collecting cos-players all along the way!
Made it the the Excel (there were bendy busses!!! D= ) There was more cosplayers than EVER (also everyone had cat ears or cat ear hats, and there were so many free hugs people it was AMAZING)
I saw someone with a Yaoi Spanking Paddle! D=
We got a signed photo with Craig Charles who plays Lister in Red Dwarf. The Tardis from Doctor Who is in this. We also had a car from Transformers, which was all very cool!
The building we are "yaying" in front of was One Canada Square, the tallest building in the UK.
Cosplay people I know in these images: Doctor Who (Tom Baker One), Pikachu (spelling?), PedoBear O.O!!, Storm Troopers and general Star Wars-ness, A gathering of Batman People, Cpt. Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, and last but certainly not least; Trekky Monster from Avenue Q.
I also bought a really nommy Bacon Bagel! NOM
We also witnessed Trauma-14. Basically a 14yrold girl was so drunk that she was collapsed on the floor, after being sick several times. Her 'boyfriend' who was 16 and she had only met twice had kinda left quickly at this point and we had to get help. ¬_¬
I bought some hard to find manga for £9! This pleases me.
All in all, a very very good day. <3
[EDIT] - I has just noticed the person cos-playing as Kaorin in the background of the photo of Craig Charles! - [/EDIT]

This is by no means all the pictures that were taken, but a few of them.
Also, all pictures are owned by us 4 in the group. Steal ANY of them, and we will be so unimpressed that the world will explode... and also other bad things will happen to you... mainly in the money dissolving out your wallet sense.
...I've never been to an anime convention...*sigh*...
