Babes

This is a little amusing response to the BBC's report on how some people are now getting offended by the term "Babes" when used by strangers.
It's an endearing term from round where I come from with no real meaning behind it. Just like up here in the north people say "lad" or "lass" or "luv".
It's sad that people are now getting offended by this.

But anyway. I like to call my sat-nav "babes", especially when it's trying to send me the wrong way. I can just imagine it taking offence to it.
