Where have I been?

I have actually been extremely busy setting myself up towards an illustration and animation career.

So, first I built a website, which contains my portfolio, conics, animation examples and contact details.

I have then built my showreel!


I've also animated an entire short animation, (which I can't show you yet) to apply for a company.

And finally I've been working on another project which I hope to get published in the near future.


So for those of you wondering (if any) why I have been quiet of late, that be why!

Anyone who still watches me, or reads this.

I'm looking to learn Japanese. I've wanted to learn for at least nine years now, and have recently had an urge to learn it again!
(probably because all my work collogues can speak more than one language. boooo)

If anyone can speak Japanese and would be interested in helping me, then please get in contact!

Hey all!

I've got a new PC after 11 years of flogging my old one... and I'm looking at getting all the necessary programs for it.

Now before I used to use Adobe for everything; Photoshop, Flash, Premier & After Effects...
But looking over it, adobe stuff is MEGA expensive...
So are there any better programs out there which do the same stuff...

I already use Paint tool Sai more than Photoshop, so not having Photoshop won't kill me... in fact I pretty much only use it for adding text to my work... which I could do easily in paint.net or something.

How about the other ones?
Sony Vegas instead of Premier?
Toon Boom Studio instead of Flash?

Any one got any experiance with any other programs...?
Please advise!!!

Sad news,

My first car, my little VW Lupo has to sadly be sold.
Engine needs to be rebuilt and I do not have the resources to do so.

So that is pretty sad for me.
I liked that car a lot.

I live in town. So I don't do much driving, cause everything is within cycle reach... so this is a perfect little car for the summer, and for the short journeys I make to see my parents... and the occasional across country one to see Cat's!
Plus.... Pop up headlights!

But yeah, end of an era for me. The little Lupo will hold a bit of a special place as will anyone's first car.
